Mumbai, Feb 19 (IANS) Yash Gosavi and Sudhanshu Gadkar struck exciting half centuries to guide St. Xavier's High School, Airoli to an emphatic 147-run win over NL Dalmia High School, Mira Road in the under-14 boys match of the Mumbai Indians Junior Cricket Tournament here on Wednesday.

Gosavi played the role of the aggressor by hammering an unbeaten 89 off just 52 balls while Gadkar was comparatively measured in his approach to score 80 runs and help St. Xavier's put up a total of 397/8 in 40 overs at Azad Maidan.

The target proved to be too much for NL Dalmia High School's batsmen and Xavier's bowlers made it even harder with some disciplined bowling.

The Mira Road based school lost wickets at regular intervals and could manage only 250/9 in 40 overs. Gosavi walked away with the 'Player of the Match' title.
